Resume checks stay on your device

PDF and DOCX files, pasted resume text and job descriptions are parsed and scored in your browser. Basic checks do not upload these documents to our server. Close the tab or select Clear resume to discard the in-memory resume. This does not delete the original file on your device.

Optional AI rewriting

If you explicitly consent and request an AI rewrite, the selected bullet (up to 1,200 characters) is sent over HTTPS to our server and Cloudflare Workers AI. The complete file and job descriptions are not included. Remove names, contact details, confidential employer information and other sensitive content before sending a bullet. We do not write bullet text or model output to our application database or application logs. Infrastructure and AI providers may process request metadata under their own policies. Local history and cookies

Score history is optional and stores only dates, scores and whether a JD match was produced, on your device. It does not store resume text, file names or job descriptions. Clear history removes these records. The browser may store your language and theme preference. If you create an account, essential authentication cookies maintain your session.

Website and account data

Cloudflare processes network and security metadata, including IP addresses, to serve the website and limit abuse. Optional account data, such as email and authentication records, is stored in the site's database. A basic check does not require an account. Resume content is not included in analytics events by this checker. This release does not add third-party marketing analytics.

Your choices

Use basic checks without an account, leave history disabled, decline AI rewriting, or remove local history at any time. For account or privacy requests, use the support ticket feature in your account. Do not submit sensitive personal data or another person's resume without permission.

We will update this page when data handling changes. Current checks target English resumes and are not a hiring or employment decision service.
