What the service provides

ResumeClear provides browser-based resume checks and optional AI bullet rewriting. Scores use published heuristics, not an employer's ATS or hiring algorithm. Keyword matching measures literal term coverage, not qualifications, semantic suitability or hiring probability. No score guarantees an interview, ATS acceptance or employment.

Your responsibilities

Use only documents you own or are authorized to process. Verify extracted text against the original. Review every AI suggestion and retain only truthful, supportable claims. Do not invent metrics, credentials or experience. You retain ownership of your content.

Availability and limits

The current basic checker is free without registration. PDF and DOCX files must be at most 5 MB; PDFs are limited to 10 pages and DOCX expansion to 10 MB. Scanned or encrypted documents may not be readable. Current scoring targets English. Free AI rewriting has capacity and abuse limits and may be unavailable. Limits may change to protect service availability.

Pricing and future features

Basic scoring, JD comparison and report copying/printing are currently free. Pro document export and cloud resume history are planned and are not sold in this release. There is no subscription checkout for these planned features. Browser print-to-PDF exports the report, not an optimized resume.

Acceptable use

Do not attack the service, automate abusive requests, bypass rate limits, upload malicious files or use it to misrepresent qualifications. We may restrict abusive traffic.

Limitations and support

The service may produce incomplete parsing, false positives or inaccurate AI suggestions. Use your judgment and follow the employer's instructions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of accuracy or fitness for a specific hiring process; nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
